New Summer Feature Items at the Cafe Pacifica Restaurant
Fresh food, cool drinks and the perfect Watefront Patio!
Just in time for the beautiful warm weather, the Pan Pacific Vancouver has just released its new 2012 Summer menus. Last season’s menu has been totally revamped (with the exception of a few favorites) with a transition from hearty comfort food – to fresh, light and local ingrediants.
What’s New
In the past few months, the Culinary Team (led Executive Chef Bob Wiles) have been working hard to bring something exciting to the table and today I got a chance to taste it first hand. Based on a several requests by locals and tourists – the chefs chose to add more fresh fish and West Coast choices to the menu.
A few feature items include the: Fennel Pollen Brioche Dusted Halibut, Grilled Scallop & Prawn Paella and the Seasame-seared Ahi Tuna (shown below).
The Team has also put a new spin on last season’s favorite Soya Marin Sable Fish and created the Maple Syrup and Soya Glazed Sablefish Salad (shown below).
For Dessert
No good meal would be complete with something sweet to top things off. Our new feature dessert items this Summer include: The Blackforest inspired Cheese cake, the Crunchy soba-cha chocolate bar and the Cream puff croustillant (shown below).
Our Patio is Now Open!
Don’t forget the Cafe Pacifica’s Waterfront Patio is now open and is the perfect place for good friends, great food and cold drinks. With views of Stanley Park, Lions Gate Bride and the Coastal Mountains – relax and watch cruise ships docking and departing from Canada Place pier while experiencing the finest in Vancouver dining.
