Cafe Pacifica Restaurant – New Winter Menus Launch Today
Today the Cafe Pacifica Restaurant at the Pan Pacific Vancouver is set to release its 2013 Winter Menus.
This season’s winter menu was headed up by Executive Chef Bob Wiles and Restaurant Sous Chef Brian Luptak – who both wanted to create something unique, inspiring….and with a bit of comfort-food for the cold season! Below are some of the feature items on this season’s menu. Stay hungry folks!
Winter Green Salad: candied beats, goat cheese, sunflower seeds, cucumber, sherry & balsamic vinaigrette.
Fraser Valley Duck Confit Rigatoni: slow cooked duck, sultanas, crumbled goat feta, tomato agrodolce sauce
Roasted Veal Loin: Roasted pumpkin & garlic, winter vegetables, pumpkin seed hollandaise.
Maple & Truffle Glazed Free Range Chicken Breast w/ butternut squash risotto, caremelized brussels sprouts, glazed baby carrots.
Rolled Beef Carpaccio: thing sliced beef rolled around kale salad, house-made mustard pickled fennel, charred canola oil.
Haida Gwaii Black Cod: chai citrus marinated black cod, curried quinoa, roasted garlic almond sauce
Charcuterie Platter: prosciutto cotto, sopressata, gypsy salami, chorizo, house pickled vegetables, selection of breads
