St. Patrick’s Day 5k:

St. Patrick’s day doesn’t have to be celebrated with green beer. Vancouver BMO’s St. Patrick’s Day 5k for Charity is located in Stanley Park and will take place on Saturday, March 14th. Funds raised by the annual event will go to the Canadian Diabetes Association. This is a great activity for people of all ages and includes a fun after-party for all participants.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade:

The St. Patrick’s Day parade will take place on Sunday, March 15th and march its way through downtown Vancouver. This all ages event draws in over 300,000 people each year and will feature Celtic Musicians, acrobats, Scottish and Irish Dancers and professional pipe and drum bands. The event begins at 11AM and the route begins at Howe St. and Davie St. then proceeds north along Howe to Georgia, ending at Georgia and Granville streets.

St. Patrick’s Day Party (adults only):

Celebrate the evening by kicking back pints of green beer, dance the night away to Celtic music and have an unforgettable evening at one of the many Irish Pubs located in downtown Vancouver or head on over to The Blarney Stone for Vancouver’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day Party. The event begins at 6PM on March 17th and runs until 2AM on March 18th. The festivities will feature green beer, Irish Dancers, a full Irish menu and live music.

Enjoy the festivities and make sure to drink responsibly!
